Cops: Thief Rode Away on Stolen Motorized Cart
Police are asking the public's help to identify a woman seen on store video footage.
Police say a woman shopping at Target rode away in a motorized cart she stole from Target in Commack.
According to the store's video footage, the woman drove the shopping cart out of the store and into the parking lot of the Target store, located at 98 Veterans Memorial Highway, Sept. 26 at approximately 2 p.m. The suspect is described as white, in her late 20s to early 30s, with long blonde hair past her shoulders. She was wearing a zippered hoodie, a dark hat and sunglasses.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
