Crime Log: 2 Arrests at Commack Motor Inn

A look at recent arrests reported by Suffolk County police.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

  • Marc Gianferrara, 32, who is undomiciled, was arrested at the Commack Motor Inn May 3 on a charge of revocation of presumptive release, for an outstanding warant.   
  • Charise Akins, 34, of Brentwood, was arrested May 3 at the Commack Motor Inn on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony. Police said they believed Akins attempted to sell cocaine due to the way the drugs were packaged.
  • Joseph Russo, 52, of Copiague, was arrested April 30 in Commack on an outstanding warrant and petty larceny, both misdemeanors. According to police, Russo took two HP desktop computers from Walmart.   
  • Richard Saglimbeni, 31, of Commack was arrested in Commack April 26 on a charge of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
