Crime Report: Bank Robberies, DWIs, and TV Theft

A blotter of the latest arrests in Commack.

The Suffolk County Police Department's Second and Fourth Precincts reported these arrests in the Commack area between March 18-March 24:

, 21, of Dix Hills,  was arrested March 25 and charged with the March 2 robbery of the . Schneider was additionally charged with six other bank robberies in North Babylon, West Babylon, Babylon, Lake Grove, Deer Park and West Islip, according to police.

, 22, of Dix Hills, was arrested March 21 and charged with the March 12 robbery of the .

Kyree Davenport, 21, of Mastic Beack, was arrested March 20 in Commack and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. Davenport was observed driving a 2001 Honda on Jericho Turnpike.

Douglas James Valentine, 49, of Hauppauge, was arrested March 20 in Commack and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired. Valentine was observed driving a 2006 Suzuki on Route 25.

Ryan Sears, 21, of Springfield, Mass., was arrested March 18 in Commack and charged with DWI. Sears was observed driving a 2006 Ford on Route 25.

Ryan Kelly, 22, of West Islip, was arrested March 18 in Commack and charged with petit larceny. Kelly was arrested at the located at 85 Crooked Hill Road in Commack for stealing a TV.

Destiny Shepherd, 17, of Central Islip, was arrested March 18 in Commack and charged with petit larceny. Shepherd was arrested at the located at 85 Crooked Hill Road in Commack for stealing a TV.

Mark McNamara, 24, of Commack, was arrested March 17 in Commack and charged with DWI. McNamara was observed driving a 2004 Hyundai southbound on Commack Road.

Caitlan Monte, 20, of Commack, was arrested March 17 in Saint James and charged with loitering unlawful use of a controlled substance. Heroin was found inside the vehicle in which Monte was sitting.*

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must contact the Editor and provide proof of dismissal.
