Crime Report: DWI and Marijuana Possession

An updated report of arrests in Commack from Nov. 6 to Nov. 10, reported by the Suffolk County Police Department.

The Suffolk County Police Department's second and fourth precincts report six arrests between Nov. 6 and Nov. 10 in Commack. 

On Nov. 6, Keith Coffin of Port Jefferson Station was arrested in Commack at Calver Street and Route 25A for driving while intoxicated. It was his first offense. 

On Nov. 7, Donavan Edwards of Deer Park was arrested in Commack and charged with driving while intoxicated South of Route 25A on Commack Road. It was his first offense.

On Nov. 8, Christopher Passando of Commack was arrested in Commack for criminal possession of marijuana – more than 25 grams – and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. 

On Nov. 8, Haley Hirsch of Commack was arrested in Commack and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 2171 Jericho Turnpike at 8:45 p.m.. Additionally, at the same place and time, Kelly Tahlor, of Commack, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Michael Garafalo, of Commack, was also arrested and charged at the same time and location with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and refusing to move when directed to do so by a Suffolk County police officer.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
