Crime Report: Speeding Drivers Allegedly DWI

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents in Commack: 


Greg Kaplan, 45, of Deer Park, was arrested Aug. 9 and charged with  first offense DWI. Police said Kaplan was driving a 2008 Saab down Commack Road at 4 p.m. when he was pulled over and determined to be driving while intoxicated.

Justin Leak, 24, of Bellport, was arrested Aug. 8 and charged for DWI with two previous convictions in the last 10 years. Leak was pulled over  by cops on Sunken Meadow Parkway for allegedly speeding. He has two convictions against him already, according to police.

Daniel Ingram, 19, of Commack was arrested and charged with petit larceny on Aug. 3. According to police, Ingram stole a hat from a store on Jericho Turnpike/Route 25 in East Northport.
