Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents in Commack:
David Valentine, 43, of Northport, was arrested June 21 in Commack and charged with driving while intoxicated - with a previous conviction in the last 10 years. Police said Valentine was driving northbound on the Sunken Meadow Parkway at roughly 3:05 a.m. when he stopped in the right lane, impeding traffic flow. Officers at the scene determined he was intoxicated.
Richard Reyes, 25, of Freeport, was arrested June 21 in Commack and charged with driving while intoxicated - first offense. Reyes was driving a 207 white BMW sedan westbound on Jericho Turnpike while allegedly going over the speed limit of 40 miles per hour and going through a red light, according to police reports.
Reia Sookhai, 38, of Brentwood, and Sampathia Rampersad, 64, of Brentwood, were arrested June 18 and each charged with one count of grand larceny, stealing property valued at more than $1,000. Police said Sookhai and Rampersad took numerous items from and left the store without paying for them.
