Crime Report: Items Stolen from Macy's, Walmart

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests from March 26 to March 29 : 

Arthur Peragine, 33, of East Northport was arrested March 28 and charged with petit larceny. Police said Peragine stole various clothing from on Veterans Memorial Highway without paying for it.
Peragine was also arrested March 29 and charged with petty larceny. He was arrested on the corner of Jericho Turnpike and Townline Road. Police said he stole protein bars and other food items from a nearby  

Belinda Brooks, 24, of Bayshore, was arrested March 29 for petty larceny. Police said Brooks took various items from without paying for them.

Margaret Ellen Hinton, 47, of Commack, was arrested in Smithtown on March 29 at 6:45 p.m. on petit larceny charges. Reports state Hinton stole grocery items from Stop & Shop on West Main Street.

Kevin Wegner, 19, of Commack, was arrested March 26 and charged him with second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of making graffiti. , including spraypainting graffiti,in the Town of Huntington going back to summer 2011.
