This mid-week update provides the latest information about crime in the Commack area, as reported by the Suffolk County 2nd and 4th police department precincts. 

  • On July 23, Luis Mejia from Jackson Heights, was arrested in Commack and charged with criminal possession of marijuana, the fifth degree. 
  • On July 24, Melanie Newbold from Brentwood, was arrested in Commack and charged with petit larceny. 
  • On July 24, Richard Noe from Freeport, was arrested in Commack and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired.
