Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents in Commack:
Brendan McNamara, 36, of Miller Place, was arrested in Commack June 9 and charged with driving while intoxicated - first offense. Police said McNamara was arrested after he was found sleeping inside a running car parked in a handicapped parking spot without a permit, off Jericho Turnpike in Commack.
Brian Hutchings, 23, of Holbrook, was arrested in Commack June 8 and charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree possession of stolen property. Hutchings attempted to sell jewelry belonging to someone else without their permission, according to police reports.
Nicholas Didomenico, 22, of Commack, was arrested June 7 and charged with driving while intoxicated - first offense. Didomencio was driving down Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown when he failed to stay in the right lane, causing him to be charge with failure to stay his lane, according to police. Offers said they pulled Didomencio over, and upon talking to him realized he was intoxicated.
