Crime Report: Robbery Suspect Found at Commack Motor Inn

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents:

Max Schneider, 23, of Dix Hills, was arrested Dec.. 5 and charged with third-degree robbery, a felony. Police said Schneider entered a Bank of America off Montauk Highway and gave the teller a note demanding cash, while claiming he was armed with a gun. The bank teller complied with his demand. Schneider fled with the cash, according to police reports. After extensive hunt, police found Schneider at the Commack Motor Inn where they arrested him. 

Amilcar Martinez, 32, of Brentwood, was arrested Dec. 1 in Commack and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Police said Martinez was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 when he pulled over in a parking lot off the Commack Road and Expressway Drive North intersection. Martinez had slurred speech, alcohol on his breath and was unable to complete a field sobriety test, according to police reports.
