The Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents:
William Leonello Jr., 18, of East Northport, was arrested on Sept. 27 by Suffolk police and charged with unlawful possession of noxious matter. On April 11, Leonello threw water bottles filled with noxious materials into a yard on Rye Place in Commack. No further details were released on what the noxious matter was by police other than it is illegal to possess. Police had been investigating the incident for several months, which led to the arrest.
William Herrera, 21, of Commack, was arrested Sept. 25 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Police said Herrera got into a car accident at the corner of William Floyd Parkway and Linden Avenue in Shirley at 11 a.m. while driving without a license.
