Crime Report: Thefts at Home Depot and Home Goods

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Veronica Stevenson, 24, of Wyandanch, was arrested May 1 in Commack and charged with petit larceny. Stevenson stole miscellaneous plumbing supplies from the located at 65 Crooked Hill Road.

Miguel Vela, 32, of Commack, was arrested May 4 in Commack and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. Vela was driving a 2007 Infiniti on Jericho Turnpike at 9:53 a.m.

Serena Ali, 19, of Bay Shore, was arrested May 6 in Commack and charged with petit larceny. Ali stole cash from the Home Goods located at 6 Henry Street.

Rebecca Carbone, 21, of Islandia, was arrested May 6 in Commack and charged with DWI. Carbone was driving a 2004 Mitsubishi on Jericho Turnpike at 3:35 a.m.

Hasibur Bhuiyan, 26, of Huntington, was arrested May 6 in Commack and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Bhuiyan was driving a 1997 Acura on Jericho Turnpike at 1:10 a.m.
