Crime Report: Two Attempted Walmart Robberies

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Suffolk County reported the following arrests from May 5 to May 12:

Ivan Carrillo, 43, of Commack, was arrested May 12 and charged with aggravated DWI. Suffolk police said Carrillo was driving a 1994 Buick westbound on Route 25/Jericho Turnpike approaching Harned Road when he was pulled over. He had a blood alcohol content of .18 of 1 percent, according to police reports. 

Karl Achnitz, 57, of Commack, and Alice Achnitz, of Commack, were arrested May 11 and both charged with petit larcency. The pair was arrested for allegedly taking various items fromon Crooked Hill Road and leaving the store without paying for the items, according to police.

Tania Gransasso, 24, of Commack, was arrested May 11 and charged with driving while intoxicatd - first offense. Gransasso was driving 2007 Volkswagon down Smithtown Main Street when police said she crossed the double yellow lines and hazard markings. She was pulled over and found to be intoxicated, according to reports. 

Germain Pierre, 19, of Deer Park, was arrested May 10 in Commack and charged with petit larceny. Pierre attempted to take videogame from Walmart on Crooked Hill Road without paying for them, according to police reports.
