Crime Report: Woman Allegedly Cashes Stolen Checks

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents:

Giselle McAuliffe, 26, of Commack, was arrested Dec. 15 and charged with one felony count of forgery 2. Police said McAuliffe stole checks from another person, filled them out and then chased them at a bank for $1,320.

Matthew Iovino, 19, of Commack, was arrested Dec. 12 and charged with one felony count of disseminating indecent material to a minor. Iovino sent three indecent photos of himself to a minor's Facebook account, according to police reports. 

Christopher Joubert, 29, of Commack, was arrested Dec. 12 and faces misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated. Police said Joubert was driving a 2011 Infiniti along Smithtown Main Street, swerving in and out of traffic and passing vehicles on the right. Police determined Joubert was intoxicated using a field sobriety test.

Michael Fisher, 34, of Commack, was arrested Dec. 9 and charged with one misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction within 10 years. Police said Fisher was driving a 2001 Chevy Blazer in a parking lot on Terry Road in Nesconset when he jumped the curb and cut into traffic. The arresting officers conducted determined Fisher was intoxiated by conducting a field sobriety test.
