Crimes Nearby: East Northport Man Charged with Stealing iPhone

The Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents:

Northport

Edward Ohara, 22, from Northport was arrested in East Northport on May 24 and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a firearm/weapon, and fifth-degree criminal public possession of marijuana after he was allegedly found to be in possession of prescription pills and a switch blade during a traffic stop.

John Pericleous, 22, from East Northport was arrested at his home in East Northport on May 20 and charged with petty larceny for allegedly stealing an iPhone from 9th Avenue on April 20.

Michael Sabina, 55, of East Moriches, was charged with driving while intoxicated on May 25. Police said Sabina was pulled over on Old Dock and Flynn Road for failure to maintain his lane of traffic. Police said Sabina’s blood alcohol content was .18 or higher.

Anthony Tirado, 31, of Kings Park was arrested in Selden on Mooney Pond Road on May 23. Police said Tirado was driving without an interlock device in his car and was driving with a revoked license.

Hauppauge

Brian Trimarchi, 25, of Hauppauge was charged on May 20 with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Police said Trimarchi was on Veterans Highway in Hauppauge in a parked, running vehicle. Police also charged Trimarchi with possession of marijuana.

Jake Buffamante, 22, of Hauppauge was charged on May 15 with petit larceny. Police said Buffamante took a shirt from Saks Fifth Avenue at the Tanger Outlet Centers in Deer Park. 

Smithtown

NM Moinul Islam, 24, of Jamaica, was arrested on May 20 in Smithtown at 3:25 a.m. on first-offense DWI charges. Reports state Islam was driving a 2010 Honda on Route 25.

Tiffany Mainsonave, 22, of Centereach, was arrested on May 20 in Smithtown at 2:45 a.m. on first-offense DWI charges. Reports state Mainsonave was arrested at Route 25 and Terry Road driving a 1994 Ford.

Three Village

Keri Ann Krasinsky, 34, of East Setauket, was arrested May 21 at 3:25 p.m. at Walmart in East Setauket and charged with petty larceny. According to police, Krasinsky allegedly took multiple items from the sales floor.

Catherine Ferro, 24, of Mastic, was arrested May 26 at 12:40 p.m. at Walmart in East Setauket and charged with petty larceny. According to police, Ferro took merchandise from the sales floor.

Jeimy Baez, 18, of Mastic Beach, was arrested May 26 at 12:40 p.m. at Walmart in East Setauket and charged with petty larceny. According to police, Baez took merchandise from the sales floor.

Erin Damm, 53, of Coram, was arrested May 22 at 5:35 p.m. at Kohl's in East Setauket and charged with grand larceny. According to police, Damm took clothing and jewelry from the sales floor.
