Crimes Nearby: Kings Park Man Breaks Into Auto Repair Shop
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
• A 45-year-old Queens man was arrested on Friday for selling Four Loko, an alcoholic drink, to a minor at the Gulf gas station on West Main Street in Smithtown, according to police. The man, who lives in Ridgewood, was arrested on a charge of unlawfully dealing with a child, first degree, which is a misdemeanor. Police said Zhan did not ask for identification when he sold an alcoholic beverage and two Four Lokos to an underage drinker. The incident happened at 9:40 p.m.
• A Smithtown woman, who police said stole 21 wallets from Bloomingdale's, was arrested on felony fourth-degree grand larceny charges last week. Venus Schwartzapfel, who is 59, was arrested on July 2 at the mall after taking the wallets and a Bloomingdale’s tote without paying for it, police said. The incident occurred at about 3 p.m.

A Kings Parks man drove a minivan through garage doors at a Commack auto repair shop that he broke into on July 4, police said.
Raymond Alfano, 42, found a way into A&R Alignment on Jericho Turnpike through a lower bay window at 4 a.m., grabbed the keys to a 2012 Dodge Caravan, and then drove the van right through the garage doors, according to Suffolk County police.

Alfano was arrested later that morning, at about 10:30 a.m., and charged with third-degree burglary, a felony. Police didn’t say how Alfano was caught.
