The Suffolk County and New York State Police Department reported the following arrests:
Kerri Pastor, 21, of Northport was arrested for driving while intoxicated after hitting a parked car on June 4. According to police accounts, Pastor had glassy eyes, her speech was slurred, her movements were slow and uncoordinated and her breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage. An empty 23.5 ounce can of Four Loco, was located in proximity to the defendant's vehicle, as was a four pack of 8 ounce chardonnay wine bottles, with one missing. Northport Rescue transported her to Huntington Hospital where she consented to a blood test. PA Michael Evers drew blood from the defendant. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable on June 11 for driving while intoxicated, by observation. Additional charges may be laid in accordingly when the toxicology report is returned to the police.
Peter Furno, 51, of Holbrook, was charged with driving while intoxicated on June 5. Police said Furno was driving a 2002 Chevy Suburban on Old Willets Path in Hauppauge at 3:42 a.m. when police charged him with DWI.
Neeko Marchand, 19, of Hauppauge, was charged with assault on June 5. Police said Marchand bit a male victim on the stomach and ear causing substantial pain. Police said the incident occurred in Smithtown on May 27.
Louis Lansa, 52, of Kings Park was charged with possession of a forged instrument on June 8 in Smithtown. Police said Lansa was in possession of a forged instrument in that he attempted to fill a forged prescription.
Luis Guevara, 27, of Kings Park was charged with second-degree menacing on June 8. Police said Guevara was in a dispute at a bar on Indian Head Road in Kings Park and had a knife, causing fear from the two victims.
Shane Pfluger, 21, of Kings Park was charged on June 5 with third-degree assault. Police said that Pfluger assaulted another person in Northport.
Stephen Gazer, 32, of Kings Park was charged with petit larceny on June 4. Police said Gazer took drinks and candy from the Stop and Shop in Northport.
Barry Goldberg, 51, of Nesconset, was arrested in Smithtown on June 9 at 11:49 p.m. on first degree criminal contempt charges. Reports state Goldberg made threats to harm a man.
Scott Nichols, 37, of Central Islip, was arrested in Smithtown on June 3 at 8:30 a.m. on petty larceny charges. Reports state Nichols was arrested for an incident at Sears in the Smith Haven Mall on Mar. 17 for knowingly attempting to return stolen merchandise.
Kathleen Dibernardo, 45, of St. James, was arrested in St. James on June 8 on second degree aggravated harassment charges. Reports state Dibernardo called the resident at Clover Lane several times after being asked not to and made threats.
