Crimes Nearby: Stony Brook Rape Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

Kings Park

Trio Charged With Vandalizing Psych Center Building
Suffolk County Police have charged three men with making graffiti, a misdemeanor, on a building at the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center.
Police said Michael Breneisen, 18, of East Northport, Anthony Marmo, 19, of Huntington and Alexis Ibarra, 19, of East Northport, spray painted graffiti at the property on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. Police arrested the men the same day.

Smithtown

A Lake Grove man remains held on bail and pleaded not guilty to a felony conspiracy charge on Monday, after prosecutors reportedly said he was involved in a drug ring spanning across Northern Brookhaven.

Anthony Perretta, 30, is charged with a felony count of conspiracy in the fourth degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.

Three Village

Defendant in Stony Brook Rape Case Pleads Not Guilty
The 20-year-old East Moriches man charged in the Stony Brook rape and armed robbery case pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to a 10-count grand jury indictment that included charges of rape, predatory sexual assault, criminal use of a firearm and more.
Police say Patrick O'Sullivan entered a home in Stony Brook through an unlocked door with a .22 caliber rifle in his possession, sexually assaulted a woman inside the home and left with computers and a camera on Nov. 20. Police confirmed the incident took place on Nov. 30, 10 days after the incident allegedly took place, and made an arrest on Dec. 1.
He stands charged with four counts of predatory sexual assault; one count of first-degree rape; two counts of criminal use of a firearm; one count of first-degree burglary; one count of first-degree sexual abuse; and one count of first-degree criminal sexual act.

Port Jefferson 

On Dec. 8 at about 3:19 a.m., the surveillance camera at Chandler Square Ice Cream was damaged by an unidentified white male, according to a police report. An investigation is ongoing.

An unnamed person was taken to Stony Brook Hospital with a broken nose after being assaulted by another person on West Broadway in Port Jefferson on Dec. 8 at about 12:30 p.m.
