The Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents:
Sergio Diaz, 23, of West Islip, was arrested Nov. 24 and faces a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. Diaz was at the Hampton Inn in Commack when he approached another person with an electronic stun gun concealed in his pocket and threatened them he had a taser gun.
John Janoutus, 24, of Syosset, was arrested Nov. 21 and charged with one misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated -first office. Police said Janoutus was driving a 2001 Infiniti at 56 mph in a 40 mph zone on Jericho Turnpike near the intersection with Commack Road. Upon being pulled over, police observed that Janoutus was intoxicated and he was arrested.
Jonathan Dolan, 24, of Huntington Station, was arrested Nov. 16 and charged with one misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated - first offense. Dolan was driving a 2001 blue Ford Taurus eastbound on Jericho Turnpike, west of Commack Road in Commack. Police said he was driving 62 mph in a 40 mph zone, and upon being pulled over officers found he was intoxicated using field sobriety tests.
