Dine and Dash Suspects Caught on Camera

Police are searching for two men suspected of leaving the Commack Applebee's without paying their bill.

Police are searching for two men who are suspected of dining at the Commack Applebee's, and then ditching the $50 bill.

According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers, the two men ate a meal at Applebee’s , located at 105 Veterans Memorial Highway, and then told their server they were going outside to smoke a cigarette on Jan. 17, at approximately 8:20 p.m. The two men never returned to pay their bill, police said.

The men were described as possibly Hispanic, in their 20s and approximately 6-feet-tall. Police said that they fled in a light-colored Honda Civic with a darker-colored panel on the driver’s side front quarter panel.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000.00 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Feel sorry for the waitress, who depending upon store policy, may get stuck with the bill--and she probably can't afford it. These guys are LOSERS. If you can't afford to eat out, eat at home!!!! Eating out is not a necessity nor an entitlement!
