Dix Hills Man Charged with Commack, Countywide Bank Robberies
Police say a 21-year-old Dix Hills resident robbed the TD Bank on Jericho Tpke., in addition to six other banks, throughout March.
A Dix Hills man has been charged with on March 2, police said.
Max Schneider, 21, was arrested Thursday night. According to Suffolk County police, Schneider entered the around 12:30 p.m. and demanded cash from the teller. He also indicated to the teller that he had a gun, police said.
Schneider was charged with six additional bank robberies that occurred throughout the month of March in North Babylon, West Babylon, Babylon, Lake Grove, Deer Park and West Islip, police said.

Schneider's arrest marks the third Commack bank arrest this month. Dix Hills resident Mark Ghossn, 22, was and charged for the March 12 robbery of the . William Loughlin, a 59-year-old West Babylon man, was arrested on March 16 and , as well as a string of additional robberies in Suffolk County, police said.
