Fire on Marshmallow Drive
An electrical fire broke out on Marshmallow Drive, off Town Line Road on Sunday morning.
The Commack Fire Department responded to a fire on Sunday morning at 8 Marshmallow Drive, off Town Line Road. The fire was knocked down quickly, according to Andrew Brofman, deputy chief fire marshal for Smithtown.
Brofman said the Commack Fire Department responded at 9:35 a.m. and pulled down the ceilings in the kitchen to get at the fire in the attic. The fire was in the electrical wiring. Once the electricity was shut-off, Brofman said the fire was knocked down instantly. There was no visible exterior damage.
