A Huntington man accused of threatening a town worker is due in court Thursday.

Robert Murphy, 55, got into a dispute over a traffic ticket last week at town hall, and threatened a female town employee, Suffolk police said. After his arrest Saturday, Murphy was sent to Stony Brook University Hospital for evaluation and released.

He was arraigned Sunday on a charge of making a terroristic threat, a class D felony, and held on $50,000 bail.
