Man Charged With TD Bank Robbery

Wading River man also robbed banks in Smithtown and West Babylon, police said.

A Wading River man has been charged with on May 25, as well as two other Suffolk County banks, police said.

Suffolk County police arrested Gabriel Rodriguez, 32, on East John Street in Lindenhurst at around 1 p.m. Tuesday and charged him with three counts of third degree robbery.

According to police, a man entered the on the morning of May 25 and handed a note to the teller demanding cash. The thief indicated that he had a gun. The teller complied, and the man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled westbound on Jericho Turnpike.

A day earlier, police said . The teller complied, gave the man an undisclosed sum of cash, and the man left the bank on foot eastbound on Main Street.

The third robbery occurred at a TD Bank in West Babylon on May 27.

In late March, a throughout Suffolk County, including the Commack branch of TD Bank on Jericho Turnpike.

Rodriguez will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
