UPDATE: Charles Collins Found by Lloyd Harbor PD
Charles Collins, 78, wandered away from his home at Birchwood Suites on Clay Pitts Road yesterday shortly after 1 p.m..
Charles Collins was found by members of the Lloyd Harbor Police Department Wednesday morning, Suffolk County Police reported.
Collins, 76, wandered away from his residence at in East Northport on Tuesday, Suffolk County Police said when issuing a Silver Alert, which allows police to notify the media when individuals with special needs are reported missing.
Collins, a white man with gray hair, brown eyes, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds, suffers from dementia.

He was last seen shortly after 1 p.m. on Larkfield Road wearing a brown corduroy jacket, police said.
Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact the Fugitive/Missing Persons Section at 631-852-6040.
