Hauppauge
Stacia Torelli, 21, of Hauppauge, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with third-degree grand larceny. Police alleged that Torelli stole iPhones from RadioShack.

Smithtown
Thomas Dowd, 20, of Holtsville; Shawn Omack, 20, of Ronkonkoma; and Anthony Distasi, 21, of Holbrook, were arrested on Feb. 5 in Smithtown on charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree physical injury/displaying a firearm and third-degree assault with intent to cause physical injury. Police said the three chased a man, threw him to the ground, stole his backpack and kicked and punched him numerous times, causing a laceration to the head that required stitches at Stony Brook University Medical Center at 2:05 a.m.
Christopher Papile, of Miller Place, was arrested in Nissequogue around 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 6 on charges of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon/firearm and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Papile allegedly possessed a knife and marijuana in a backpack in a 2002 Ford at River Road and Parsins Lane.

Three Village
A police investigation is underway in the Wednesday robbery of the bank on Main Street in Setauket.
According to police, a white man described as 5-feet 9-inches tall and between 20 and 30 years old, entered the branch located at 1395 Route 25A at 11:10 a.m. and showed a teller a note demanding cash, also stating he was armed with a weapon. Police said the teller gave the man cash, then the man left the bank on foot south through the parking lot behind the bank.
Police said the suspect was wearing a beige hooded jacket with the hood up, jeans and sneakers, with a red and green scarf covering his face, sunglasses and black gloves.
Huntington
A man stole a purse from a South Huntington store last month after asking for a job at the location.
Police say the suspect asked to use the restroom before stealing an employee's pocketbook containing credit cards and $400 in cash at the Lighting Gallery, located at 326 E. Jericho Turnpike at about 12:45 p.m. on Jan. 3.
The thief was wearing a gray overcoat, dress pants, button up shirt, scarf and a ski cap while carrying a black duffel bag, according to .

Northport
Northport police said Kelly A. Karman, 42, of Centerport was arrested on Feb. 6 and charged with grand larceny for allegedly stealing a diamond engagement ring from a house on Church Street in October.
