Officer: Jeep Runs Light, Crashes on Jericho

Jeep Grand Cherokee crashes into a Ford Explorer outside the parking lot of New York Sports Club.

A two-car collision clogged up Jericho Turnpike in Commack Tuesday evening.

At 6:00 p.m., a Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed into a Ford Explorer outside the parking lot of New York Sports Club.

According to Officer West, of the Suffolk County Police Department's Second Precinct, the Jeep hit the Explorer as it was running a red light. The officer said no one was injured.

Both drivers - males, in their late teens - declined to comment.
