One Dead, Two Hospitalized after Fight at Howard Johnson

Early this morning, a Brentwood man was fatally stabbed outside of the Howard Johnson in Commack.

A Brentwood man was stabbed to death during a large fight at the  at 4:20 a.m., the Suffolk County Police reported. 

Stanley Davis, 18, of Brentwood, was pronounced dead at 6:45 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.

Jason Iglesias, 20, of Brentwood, was transported to Good Samaritan with stab wounds, but is expected to survive. Curtis Johnson, 21, of Brentwood, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for non-life threatening head injuries sustained in the fight.

Police said one person was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration during the fight and another person was charged with Disorderly Conduct at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. 

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the stabbing to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392. Patch will continue to update with information as it becomes available.
