Police: 4 Women Stole Faucets From Commack Home Depot

A look at recent crime in the neighborhood.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

  • Four women were arrested Nov. 19 at Home Depot in Commack when they allegedly stole faucets from the home improvement store. Wendy Booker, 41, of Wyandanch; Debra Pure, 49, of Farmingdale; Chandra Alker, 48, of Bay Shore and Gina DiDomenico, 26, of Lindenhurst were charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony, after police said they stole the equipment from the Jericho Turnpike store at 11:42 a.m.
  • Police said a man stole a woman’s purse from Crooked Rail bar in East Northport, and then used her keys inside of the bag to steal her car, a 2003 Toyota Corolla, Nov. 21 at 10 p.m. James Reeves, 31, from Huntington Station was arrested and charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony. 
  • A vehicle belonging to the owner of a Commack gas station was stolen from the business’ parking lot Nov. 22, police said. According to police, the 2006 Hummer was taken from United Propane on Veterans Memorial Highway at 5 p.m.
  • Two home burglaries were reported in East Northport Nov. 29. According to police, a burglar broke into a kitchen window on Cherry Court and took a kindle at approximately 4:30 p.m. A burglary was also reported at 11 a.m. on Pulaski Road, in which police said a person entered the Pulaski road home through a window and took jewelry.
