Police: Gunman Robs 7-Eleven

Armed robber threatened cashier with a gun, police said.

A 7-Eleven convenience store in Commack was robbed by an armed man, police said.

According to Suffolk County police, a man entered the located at 6230 Jericho Turnpike at 4:51 a.m. on Monday.

Once inside the store, he displayed a revolver handgun and demanded cash from the cashier, police said. The cashier complied, handed the assailant an unspecified amount of cash, and the thief fled.

No injuries were reported. No arrest has been made in connection to the incident.

This marks the third robbery in the area this year. The just a few doors down from the 7-Eleven was robbed on and . Two different men were charged with those robberies.
