Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help in identifying and finding a man accused to stealing lithium battery packs from Home Depot.
Police said the suspect walked into on Crooked Hill Road May 3 at approximately 4:20 p.m. The man went over to a display of Rigid 18 Volt Lithium Ion 5-Piece Combo Kits near the front of the store, and took two combo kits off the shelf. He then left the store without paying, according to police reports.
The suspect is described as a white male appearing to be in his mid-20s, approximately 5-foot, 10-inches, weighing under 200 pounds with dark hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a black Under Armor shirt.
