The Long Island Power Authority is reporting that 197 people, out of 13,167 customers served, do not have power as of 2:30 p.m. LIPA estimates that power should be returned to this customers by 4 p.m.
In the East Northport section of Huntington, which is partially in the Commack Union Free School District, there are 49 customers, out of 7,122 customers served, without power. LIPA is estimating that their power should be returned as of 5 p.m.
Some businesses are open including , while others – including and – will remain closed for the day.
