Registration Open for Commack Ambulance 5K Walk/Run
The race on Aug. 24 will raise funds for the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
Registration for the second Commack Ambulance 5K Run/Walk is now open.
The event, which started last year, is to raise money to benefit the volunteer members of the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps. All proceeds will go to benefit the membership.
The 5K will take place Aug. 24 at Sawmill Intermediate School, located at 103 New Hwy., Commack.
EMS, fire and police applicants will receive a discount with identification on the day of race.
The Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps is also looking for sponsors for the event, that they hope will take place annually.
