Two Accidents on Jericho in Rain; No Serious Injuries Reported
Incidents were within one mile of each other.
Two separate crashes occurred on Jericho Turnpike near the intersection with Larkfield Road Friday evening. Ambulances were called to both scenes, but police said there were no serious injuries in either case.
The first involved two vehicles and happened just west of Larkfield Road, shutting down the eastbound lane just prior to 7 p.m. Both vehicles were towed.
As police wrapped up that scene, several squad cars sped away headed east on Jericho. Less than one mile away emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle accident in the westbound lane, in front of Felt Billiards.

A man at the scene who declined to give his name but said he was in the middle vehicle, a minivan, said he and his companions were rear-ended.
"We were at a dead stop and the lady just hit us," he said. Several children could be seen in the minivan's back seats. The man said there were no serious injuries.
