Vacuum Stolen from Target

An unknown woman stole a Dyson vacuum worth $549 on March 21.

A vacuum cleaner worth more than $500 was stolen from the on Veterans Highway in Commack last month.

According to police, a white woman with long, dark hair entered the store, located at 98 Veterans Highway, at around noon on March 21 and grabbed a Dyson vacuum cleaner from the shelves, then left the store without paying for it.

The vacuum was worth $549, police said.

Surveillance photos show the woman was wearing a black and white striped shirt, a black hoodie, black pants, and a white baseball cap.

A human resources manager at Target who declined to give her name said it is against company policy to comment on specific incidents. Store Manager Jonathan Santiago was unavailable for comment on Friday.
