Video: Three Robberies From Month-Long Spree

Medford, Farmingville and Islip Terrace robberies lasted seconds.

Footage of three of the robberies that police say were allegedly committed by a Medford couple were screened at a Friday press conference at Suffolk County Police headquarters in Yaphank.

The robberies, which lasted seconds, were shown from the Subway location at 2920 Route 112 in Medford on Dec. 9, Hess at 3203 North Ocean Ave. in Farmingville on Dec. 13 and the Mobil on the Run at 3239 Sunrise Highway in Islip Terrace on Jan. 7. William Madigan, chief of detectives, explains each of the three robberies in the video attached to this post.

The robberies, police say, are part of a pattern of 13 robberies and two attempted robberies that took place throughout Lake Ronkonkoma, Nesconset, Patchogue, Medford, Farmingville and nearby areas.

Christopher Marino, 29 and Jamie L. Greco, 23, both of Medford, were arrested Wednesday, charged with the robberies and arraigned Thursday. They face 13 charges of robbery in the first degree.
