Hotel, Housing on Huntington Town Board Agenda

The Town Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday with a full agenda of items to consider. It is the final scheduled board meeting of the year.

Topping the agenda is the consideration of a proposed settlement of a lawsuit involving apartments on Ruland Road in Melville. Also on the table are zoning changes that will kick off revitalization plans for Huntington Station, starting with a a housing development on Columbia Street, and a hotel.

AUTHORIZE the Supervisor to execute a contract with Cullen & Danowski, LLP, to perform auditing and accounting services for the Town of Huntington and to execute a contract with Fuoco Group, LLP, to perform auditing and accounting services for the Huntington Human Services Institute, Cultural Affairs Institute and Youth Bureau Institute, and appoint each as official Town Auditors to perform said accounting and auditing services for the Fiscal Year ending December 31, 2013.
