Photos: Signs Appear at Controversial Farm

Two signs thanking the community have appeared at Marion Carll Farm.

Two homemade signs are on the driveway entrance to Marion Carll Farm, a week after the referendum vote rejected the sale of the Farm to Holiday Corporation. Two weeks ago, the school district held an informational presentation to explain the proposed sale. Residents, led by Commack Community Association President Bruce Ettenberg protested that meeting and also visited both referendum sites to discuss this sale with their neighbors.
