Plans for New Commack Restaurant to be Presented to Smithtown Planning Board

Plans to build a new restaurant in Commack will go before the Smithtown Planning Board on Wednesday night. 

Smithtown Planning Board will hold a public meeting at 8 p.m. Wendnesday at the Eugene A. Cannataro Senior Citizen Center. Their agenda includes plans by P J Venture to build a restaurant in Commack.

A representative for PJ Venture will present plans to to the planning board to build a 6,500-square-foot restaurant on the southeast corner of Crooked Hill Road and Henry Street. 

Smithtown Town officials voted unanimously to approve a request by P.J. Venture to expand the Cosentino Commerce Center on Oct. 2. The developer was given permission to expand the shopping center by 27,022-square-foot, second-story expansion.

Planning Department staff said the expansion will utilize second-story space to leave space and open more retail stores. The shopping center already has several megaretailers including Costco, Target, Shoprite and more.
