Question of the Day: Would A Tax Cap Hurt Education?
PTA Council President wants parents to petition tax cap in the name of education.
Earlier this week, Commack PTA Council President Jacki Fleischhacker sent a message to parents and residents opposing the proposed property tax cap.
Fleischhacker says the proposed tax cap would cut educational funding and harm the school system. However, residents who pay consistently rising property taxes support the cap.
