Smithtown Town Board Plans Zoning Hearings, Lighting Improvements

Smithtown Town Board will hold its first June meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall.

Smithtown town officials will be scheduling public hearing on several zoning laws and voting on a potential lighting improvement project. 

The Smithtown Town Board will hold their first June meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall on West Main Street. Elected officials will consider parades, schedule public hearings on zoning changes and vote on a lighting improvement project. 

Board trustees will consider whether to approve a contract for D&B Engineers and Architects to work with the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce on designing Decorative Lighting Improvements for Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset.

Also, the town will schedule several public hearing on changes to zoning laws for June 21.
