Commack School District Asks Families to Connect Online

Two communication workshops will be held for senior citizens and those without school-aged children.

Commack School District is encouraging residents to get connected with their school officials via digital communications including email, texts, its web and mobile sites, and even Twitter.

The district is launching a “Keep in Touch” campaign to inform the Commack community of its information resources available, in case of an emergency.

To sign up, click the link on the top of the Commack School District's Website that says, “Email Notification.” Check the box next to “District News” for messages of general interest to the community, which include continuing education, community events, Board of Education meetings, and general interest matters. Check the box for “Emergency Community Communications”  to receive our notices during emergency situations.

For those in a need of a tutorial of the systems, there will be two community workshops for senior citizens and residents without school-aged children at Commack High School on Jan. 30 at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. 

In addition, the district is also use a calling, email and texting system through School Messenger for notices.
