Anthony Davidson, former English teacher and department chair at the Middle School, as been appointed assistant principal at the High School.

The District unanimously appointed Anthony Davidson as the new High School assistant principal on Thursday at the first board meeting of the 2010-2011 school year.

Mary-Jo Masciello, Board of Education president, said Davidson connected with students in the middle school during his 12 years as an English teacher and chair of the department and can now bring those abilities to the high school.

Davidson fills the spot left by Catherine Nolan's leave of absence and appointment as high school principal, following the departure of Russell Stewart at the end of the 2009-2010 school year.
