Junior Division Enrichment Classes

Mad Science- (Grades K-5)  they are the world’s leader in fun science for children and they are bringing their program to the Suffolk Y JCC. In this 8 session class you will learn about: Bugs, Detective work, The Science of Toys, Walloping Weather, Mad Science Machines, Movie Effects and Kitchen. 8 Sessions -  Mondays  (4:30-5:30). Tentative Start Date: 10/15. Members: $130, Non-Members: $142

The L.I. Chess Mates - (Grades K-5) They are bringing their chess program to the Suffolk Y JCC. Each session is made up of 45 minutes of instruction and 45 mintues of play. 8 Sessions - Wednesdays (4:30-6:00) Tentative Start Date: 10/17. Members: $145, Non-Members: $157

Dance Combo - (Grades K-2) Get those little feet moving with Miss Laura as you learn the basics of Ballet and Tap Dance. Instructor: Laura Gautche. 8 Sessions - Tuesdays (4:30-5:30). Tentative Start Date: 10/16. Members: $130, Non-Members: $142

Magic -  (Grades 1-5) Did you ever wonder how magicians make things disappear? Or guess your age?  How about guessing the card you picked out of a deck? You can learn all of these tricks and entertain your family and friends with Hobby Quests "Making Magic" program. 8 Sessions  Thursday  (4:30-5:30). Tentative Start Date: 10/18.
