Workshops: “How to Network a Room” and "LinkedIn II"

The Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center will be holding two workshops “How to Network a Room” which will be held on Thursday, April 19th at 10:30am.  Networking
Events, Career Fairs, Social Engagements - These are all great opportunities to meet new people, exchange ideas, collaborate, generate new business and help others. This workshop will provide you with practical tips to maximize your next networking event and master the art of “working the room”.

Following this seminar we will have “LinkedIn II” at 1:30pm.  This workshop will cover all basic aspects of using LinkedIn including  invitations, inbox messages, profile searches, editing and managing your profile. It will also go over a few unique features such as network updates, answers, groups, job search, and recommendations. You must have a profile or have
attended LinkedIn I in order to participate.

Don’t let an unexpected interview question or a lack of preparation catch you off guard. This workshop will provide you with a step-by-step guide to navigating the interview process, from researching the company before you arrive to writing a stand-out thank you note once you leave.
