Event Spotlight: Concert and Food Drive

Commack High School orchestra students partner with Harry Chapin Food Bank.

Students from the Commack High School orchestra are making music to help end hunger on Long Island.

On Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m., the students will host a Pops Orchestra Night as they partner with Orchestras Feeding America and the Harry Chapin Food Bank/Long Island Cares.

Residents are invited to come out and enjoy popular music from Les Miserables,  Michael Jackson's Thriller album and Pirates of the Carribean.

The concert is free. Guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items for local distribution.
