Mandracchia-Sawmill Student Council Donates Care Packages to Veterans
Students will send toiletries to veterans at the Northport VA Hospital.
Students at Mandracchia-Sawmill Intermediate School celebrated Veteran's Day by donating toiletries to help local vets in need.
Members of the student council collected the donations from fellow Commack students and teachers and assembled care packages to be distributed to vets staying at the Northport VA Hostpital.
"We simply must show our veterans how much we support them and appreciate all that they have done. Thank you to all our veterans from your friends at Sawmill," stated advisor Lauren Mazur.
