Residents will reflect on those who lost their lives serving this country this coming Monday.
Commack has a piece of its own war history- a 1942 piece of war machinery from World War II, located on Veterans Memorial Highway, across from the King Kullen Shopping Plaza.
Commack will host a Memorial Day Parade May 27 at 10 a.m. Organized by the VFW Post 9263, the parade will start at the Home Depot parking lot at Larkfied Road and Jericho Turnpike and proceed east on Jericho Turnpike to Veterans Site at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Veterans Highway.
