Patch Provides H.S. Prep for SATs

A new Monday column, Test Prep, helps students – and parents – understand, prepare for and ace the SAT.

Michele Shulman, a former high school English teacher and private SAT tutor, will begin authoring a column "Test Prep" on Monday.

Test Prep is designed as a straightforward resource to guide students and their parents along the path to SAT success.  It serves as an introduction for newcomers to the test and a review for those who have already tackled the exam but may need additional support and direction.

Since the SAT is what grants admission to college, many parents and students grow anxious about taking the test – and studying for it. They wonder: how to go about studying, how much time to spend preparing, and how to find answers to general questions about the exam.
