Disparage (v.) - to ridicule or belittle

In context:  While I expected to be corrected for an error that I made at work, I was shocked when my boss disparaged me in front of my peers.

SAT Tip of the Day:

Rather than attempting to "cram" before the test, practice a section or two every day for several weeks or more.  You cannot build reading, reasoning, and critical thinking skills overnight.  If you truly want to improve your score, you must commit to steady practice.
